Mental Health Month

May has been the month to recognize and bring awareness to mental health issues since 1949. Around one in five adults experience mental health issues every year. How a person thinks, feels, and acts are all impacted. Many factors can lead to mental health issues, which makes it impossible to completely understand. Due to the fact mental illness is so hard to diagnose, it can mean so many different things. It is not defined by a doctor or therapists’ prescription pad.

Everyone’s story is different. Sometimes, mental health and happiness is a matter of perspective. What is stopping you from changing yours? This video is meant to bring awareness to the Mental Health Month of May.
